How to connect Copper and Hubspot Marketing
1. Once you’ve signed up to an Outfunnel account, go to Outfunnel > App
2. Choose Copper and Hubspot Marketing as the apps to connect, go through the authentication flow and click on Create connection.

Note: You have to be on Hubspot Marketing Professional plan and up to make use of engagement recording. Contact sync works with any plan.
1. In the Record engagement tab, open the Hubspot Marketing list dropdown to select lists that you’d like to record activity from.
2. Then define how you’d like email activities like opens, clicks, bounces or unsubscribes recorded in Copper – or simply use our default settings.
You can change engagement settings at any time by clicking on the Edit button on the Connection under App connector.
Outfunnel checks for new engagements every four hours. If you'd like to have the data sync over faster, simply click on Sync now.
Monitor synced contacts and engagements
Once the connection is live, navigate to the Status tab to see key information about the connection, such as when were events last synced and which events have been synced. Please note that each event counts towards your billing quota.
Tips, observations, and useful definitions
💡 Sync frequency. Outfunnel syncs some data instantly and some every 4 hours (approximately). You can force a sync when you click on the headline of an Automation and then click the “Sync events now” button.
💡 Supported campaign types. Outfunnel supports single email campaigns and workflows. Please note that due to peculiarities with Hubspot's API Outfunnel is able to capture email engagement from left and right branches of workflows but not middle branches.
💡 Notifications. If you’d like to receive email notifications about people opening and/or clicking your newsletters, you’ll need to turn on Email notifications feature in Copper. (See how).
